I was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) in Jan 2002. I was previously certified as a First Responder. My intent was to be able provide care while involved in my other activities. I realized without ongoing use, my skills would be minimal. I was a volunteer with Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Company, a volunteer Emergency Services Dept, for 18 years.
While I miss running calls and serving my community, I'm am glad to still be in touch with life-long friends made while serving in EMS.
